11.76ha
for bush regeneration
11.76 ha has been earmarked for environmental
rehabilitation. This will be made up of endemic
and native flora species.

38.4ha
of the site to be conserved
The site will see the conservation of 38.4
hectares of existing vegetation, including
2.9 hectares of existing frog habitat.

Low vegetation clearing
The current design sees a 49% reduction
in clearing of native vegetation from the
original DA scheme.

Preserving environmental values
for future generations.
Across the Harvest estate, swathes of land are
being rehabilitated with endemic and native flora
species, with new wetland habitats for threatened
frog species as well as new habitat for koalas and
blossom bats. And almost 40 hectares of existing
vegetation will be carefully conserved to protect
the precious flora and fauna already there.
Low development and visual impact.
A 30 metre wide landscape buffer adjacent to
Ewingsdale Road ensures that none of the development
will be visible from Ewingsdale Road along the property boundary.
A reduced lot yield and an increase in conservation
areas will reduce the site’s cut and fill, in turn reducing
the impact the development’s groundwork has on the
existing site.

Cultivating a sustainable
future for all.

Vegetated Estate Entrance
A 30 metre wide landscape buffer adjacent to
Ewingsdale Rd ensures development will not be
visible from the road, while creating a secluded
estate setting.

Collecting Precious Water
The collection of rainwater will increase the
availability of clean, fresh water in our community.
Excess storm-water will be filtered back through
vegetation into groundwater and natural wetlands.
